• The Long Island Society of Cosmetic Chemists (LISCC) was founded in 1987 and this year, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. In order to commemorate this milestone, the chapter has planned a Venetian Ball on Oct. 26 at The Woodlands in Woodbury, NY. The gala—a masked, formal affair—will be a “night of intrigue, mystery and fantasy in which the finest food, wines and music will be overshadowed only the beauty and charm of the guests themselves,” according to LISCC.
